ESPRESSO BANANA HEALTH SHAKE

Give your body a much needed post-gym-boost with this healthy shake

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tsp espresso granule

  • 2 tbs boiling water

  • 2 large Sweeter Bananas

  • 2 tbs vanilla protein powder

  • 1 tbs rolled oats

  • 11/2 cups chilled coconut water

  • 4 tbs Greek yoghurt

  • 1 tbs honey

  • 4 ice cubes

METHOD

  1. Dissolve the espresso in boiling water. Chill in the freezer for 5 minutes.

  2. Peel and chop bananas, place into a blender with protein powder, oats, coconut water, yoghurt, honey and ice cubes. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour into two glasses or jars. Spoon over the cold espresso, stir to combine. Serve.
